Turkeys (and all the fixings) from 911

    The Boone County Sheriff’s Office - 911 is collaborating with Boone County Search and Rescue in providing Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets to families in need. They are prepared to provide the items necessary for theses baskets, but would like to give the public an opportunity to be involved and donate if they wish.
    Suggested items for baskets:
    -Laundry basket
    -Turkey
    -Turkey pan
    -Napkins/paper towels
    -Mashed potatoes
    -Gravy
    -Stuffing
    -Cranberry sauce
    -Green beans/corn/canned mixed vegetables
    -Rolls/bread/dry mix
    -Pie/desserts/whipped cream
    -Juices/coffee/punch

    Please have all donated items dropped off to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office (1019 Mamie Eisenhower Ave. W, Boone) by Friday, Nov. 16. A box has been placed in the lobby for all non-perishable items.
    Frozen/perishable items and financial contributions are also being accepted. Arrangements must be made in advance for these by emailing:

    Checks can be made payable to Boone County Search and Rescue.
    Baskets will be delivered Monday, Nov. 19, 2018.
    To receive a basket or nominate someone to receive a basket, email (see above) name and address of the basket recipient.
