VisionBank solicits nominations for Community Superheroes

VisionBank needs your help to find our communities’ superheroes!

As part of VisionBank’s Community Protectors campaign, the bank is seeking nominations recognizing the individuals who go out of their way to make life better for others, build up their neighborhoods, and regularly meet the needs of those around them. Most of the time these unsung heroes go largely unnoticed because they don’t draw attention to themselves. VsionBank would like to cast a spotlight on these individuals making a difference in our own backyards.

Because VisionBank’s eight locations span five different communities in Central Iowa, the bank will be selecting one “Superhero” from each market area: Ames, Boone, Grimes, Huxley, and Ogden. Each of the five winners will be awarded $500: $250 for the hero, and $250 for the hero to give to his/her favorite local nonprofit organization. Those who live in the school districts of the aforementioned communities are also eligible to be nominated.

Nomination forms and other details are available on the VisionBank website (www.visionbank.com) or by stopping by any of the eight VisionBank locations. Nominations must be completed and returned in person by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15 to one of the branches in the nominee’s home community.
