A volunteer opportunity for adults 55+

Our Foster Grandparents program in Ogden has an opening. Foster Grandparents are volunteers ages 55 and older who serve 15 to 40 hours per week in parochial schools, nonprofit day cares, or community centers working with children who have special or exceptional needs. Foster Grandparents may be eligible for a tax-free stipend to supplement income, as well as provided transportation or travel reimbursement. Free meals are provided on site. No background in education, tutoring or mentoring is needed. When you volunteer as a Foster Grandparent, you help children develop academic and life skills critical to success later in life.
