Without their seniors, Ogden boys struggle to get points at Gilbert

Because of the bad weather, the Ogden high school boys track team was able to only compete in one giant meet at Gilbert High School last Monday.

There, the Ogden team competed with 16 other schools. Ogden struggled to keep up with limited participants able to make the trip because of the senior trip. That caused them to end up in 14th place with 47 points. They were within 10 points of the 11th place finisher, so just a couple of better finishes could have propelled them up the rankings quite bit.

Ogden was facing stiff competition though, so it was an incredibly hard meet to get points. They were able to in a couple of events though. One of those was the distance medley where Ogden got third in their group and 4th overall.
