Lady Bulldogs get a much-needed win
Friday night’s 46-37 win over Earlham bumped the Bulldogs to .500 at 3 wins and 3 losses. This following a rough week where Ogden was dominated by Humboldt and Des Moines Christian. The Earlham Cardinals fell to 1-5.
Ogden led by 3 at the end of the first quarter and held a 23-18 advantage at the break.
Bulldog Abbey Gustafson shot 4 of 9 from the field and drained 6 of 8 free throws to lead Ogden with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Anna Langel’s line included 13 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
Sophomore Ellee Laws tallied 9 while pulling down a team-high 9 rebounds.
Ogden 39 - Humboldt 75
Last Monday night’s non-conference game was never in question as the Wildcats jumped to an early 20-10 lead. By halftime Ogden saw themselves down by 23 points.
