Hanging of the wreaths

Ogden Municipal Utilities employee Tyler Kappes helped string and hang Christmas decorations along Ogden’s mainstreet in preparation for the upcoming holiday season. The community will be celebrating Christmas this Saturday, Dec. 1. Festivities include visits with Santa, soup supper, chili cook-off, horse-drawn wagon rides, roller skating and games for the children

Join in the Reindeer games

The town of Ogden has come together for another fun and exciting community Christmas celebration. Festivities begin with a tree lighting ceremony and Christmas carolling under the water tower at 5:30 p.m.
In following this year’s theme,  there are “reindeer games” for the children. Be sure and look for the reindeer first thing. She will be prancing around during the tree lighting and singing. Youngsters will them be given directions on how to acquire their reindeer names, by stopping at Walnut Street Health & Wellness (for the first name) and Made to Gaze for a last name. Be sure and tell Santa your new name when you visit him at the Well.
Each of the two Sunday school rooms at Water’s Edge Church will have children’s games and face painting.
For a full list of the evening’s activities, see page nine.
