Local citizens volunteer to dig out fire hydrants

With all the recent snowfall a few things around town have been forgotten about, and quite literally buried. So when the question “how should we go about digging out all of our fire hydrants?” was asked during Ogden Night, Tyler Wisecup, Ben Anderson, and Mitch Simpson of Wisecup Trucking took it upon themselves to make it happen. They were given a map of the hydrant locations across the city and headed out.

“Originally the thought was that they needed someone to evaluate how much it would cost to do something like this, so we decided to just do it ourselves,” Wisecup explained.

The trio had dug out nearly half of the city hydrants before noon, totaling about 39 hydrants so far.
