Topics of interest from the Boone County Board of Supervisors August 3 meeting

Approved a Class C Liquor License for Temporary Outdoor Service and Sunday Service for Big Wigs Bar, located on West Lincoln Way in far eastern Boone County, for September 3 and 4.

Approved signing a one-year letter of agency with CPI Communications, following a presentation by Eric Sloan, IT Director. This will permit Windstream Communications, Boone County’s phone service provider, to directly provide information to CPI Communications, Boone County’s phone equipment vendor, rather than the current highly inefficient process that uses Sloan as intermediary.
