Jeni graduated from Ogden High School with the class of 1987 and then again from Iowa State University with the class of 1991. During her high school years, she enjoyed cheerleading for the Ogden Bulldogs, and won the title and crown of the Boone County Fair Queen in 1986.
She met the love of her life, Tony, on August 16th, 1985, her sixteenth birthday. They married on June 6th, 1992, at Augustana Luthern Church in Boone, surrounded by their family and friends. Tony and Jeni welcomed their first son, Tanner, on March 10th, 1994 and their second son, Chase, on May 21st, 1999.
