OGDEN - The Ogden girls hoopers welcomed in Van Meter on Tuesday night and saw the first eight minutes go about as poorly as it could have. The slow start led to the ‘Dogs third loss of the season, a 56-21 setback against VM.
Ogden’s offense struggled in the opening eight minutes in the first quarter, registering one point as VM scored 21 to put the Bulldogs in the early hole. The offense found some life in the second period with a 10 point effort, but Ogden trailed at the break, 37-11.
