Beat the winter blues by scrapbooking

With the insanity surrounding the world sometimes it’s hard to step back and relax. Starting on January 28 and running through the 30th, Shelley Whiteing is hosting a Beat the Winter Blues event at the Leonard Good Community Center.

Whiteing, who works for Close to My Heart, has always loved crafting and scrapbooking and has turned that passion into ways to help those looking to find a new interest. She also finds it’s a good way to spend time with one another.

“I decided to sell and market crafts,” she said. “It’s fun to share a common interest with people.”
