2022 Main Street Iowa Communities Selected

The communities selected for 2022 Main Street Iowa designation were announced at the State of Iowa Downtown Conference in Pella last week. Boone was not selected this year.

Mayor John Slight explains, “While we are disappointed in this news, we are very proud of the efforts of the Boone Chamber staff and the cross section of volunteers that came together to assemble a strong application in a relatively short amount of time. I’m excited to build upon these efforts and encourage all involved to apply again next year.”
