Donors to Wigs for Kids help others

There are many ways to brighten the lives of others this holiday season. Donating to Wigs for Kids is one way to spread the joy of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

This year for the first time, Olivia Smith at Jo’s Haircuts for Men in Ogden is sending hair donations made at her shop to Wigs for Kids. A recent hair donor, Lauren Parker of Creston, encourages others to participate.

“It’s for kids under the age of 18 with hair loss due to cancer and other medical reasons. It’s a fully non-profit organization that takes hair and other financial donations,” Parker said.
