Memorial Day Service is back

The OHS students in Iowa: Then and Now are hosting a Memorial Day Service. This is the culmination of their semester long course. They've discovered different sites around Iowa, studied famous people, and researched local history of Boone County and Ogden. Most recently, they've explored the stories of some of the people buried in our cemetery. Students were lucky enough to go on a field trip to Des Moines to visit the Iowa Hall of Pride, State Historical Society Museum of Iowa, and the Iowa Gold Star Museum.
