Ogden celebrates opening of little food pantry

The Boone County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program has created a new resource for households struggling with food insecurity in the area.

Every two years the leadership program brings together more than a dozen people to prepare them to be leaders in their community. This includes coming up with some sort of project to benefit the local area.

In 2018, the previous group built small community food pantries in Boone. This year's group decided to expand on that idea, setting up new community pantries in Ogden and Madrid.
