Lettuce and radishes are the first vegetables ready for harvest as Ogden’s community garden flourishes.
“We got it pretty well planted, and it’s growing and looks good,” said councilwoman Margaret Liston.
In addition to the main 45x75-foot garden originally planted, Street Superintendent Dan Buzzel tilled an additional garden plot at the garden site near the corner of NE 4th St. and E. Sycamore St., on the empty lot offered for the community garden by Marilyn Good.
