After the first quarter on Thursday night, it looked like a battle was in store for the Ogden girls, but Saydel was able to use a big second quarter to propel themselves to a win over the ‘Dogs, 55-36.
Ogden trailed by a point after the first quarter, 7-6, but the Eagles outscored them by 11 in the second quarter, the Bulldogs trailing 26-14 at halftime. Ogden was then outscored by seven in the second half.
The ‘Dogs went 9-for-58 shooting and hit a trio of triples. They did find success at the free throw line, 15-for-20.
