History was made on Tuesday night as the Ogden Bulldogs and Boone Toreadors took part in the first ever, and first annual, Rumble for the River wrestling dual. The ‘Dogs battled all night in every match they took part in, but lost the title to Boone, 48-22.
The first match of the night was a 106 battle as Ogden’s Caleb Wisecup battled Boone’s Tanne Weitzel. Wisecup did everything he could but fell in 5:55 via fall. However, the 113 match went Ogden’s way as Kolton Munson was able to get Jordan McCloud’s shoulders to the mat in 3:07.
