Runs in the family: Ethan Bailey replaces retired father as Ogden Police Chief

  For as long as he can remember, Ethan Bailey always wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. Bailey’s father, Mick, was the longtime Police Chief in Ogden, who retired at the end of last year. Ethan decided it was time to work in his hometown, following in his dad’s shoes once more.

  “Big shoes to fill,” Bailey said. “He had been with the Ogden Police Department for 35 years. Chief for as long as I can remember, he got promoted to that when I was pretty young. Everybody knew who dad was, and to go to him for help, and was a staple of Ogden.”
