After closing for almost three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ogden’s Spinning Wheels roller skating rink reopened on Friday, June 5.
The rink has been a staple in Ogden since the 1960s, and although past months of closure have been difficult financially, owners Joe and Cheri Schmidt are dedicated to keeping the rink a great place for young and old alike to visit.
“A lot of people have a lot of memories there and are emotionally invested in the rink. We want to continue that legacy,” Cheri Schmidt said.
