Donald LeRoy Erb

June 26, 1926 – December 30, 2020

Donald LeRoy Erb, 94, of Boone, Iowa went to be with his Lord Jesus, and beloved wife Helen on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Don was at his home where he had resided since 1949.

Don was born June 26, 1926 in Cooper, Iowa the son of Elmer and Stella (Van Cleave) Erb. In 1929 his family moved to a 240-acre farm southeast of Ogden. It was there that he developed his love for agriculture. He grew up attending a one-room school and then went on to Ogden High School, where he was a member of the FFA, graduating in 1944.

Charles Jeffery Brott was born on September 29, 1958, in Creston, Iowa, the son of Charlie and Charlene (Linkvis) Brott. He was a graduate of Clearfield High School and following his education, farmed in the Lenox area.

Loren Oliver Muench, 89

Loren Oliver Muench passed away peacefully at Green Hills Health Care Center on November 29, 2020 of natural causes. He was born October 4, 1931 in Boxholm, Iowa to Louise (Hammerstedt) and Oliver Edward Muench and raised on the family farm. He attended a one room school, and later, Boxholm community schools, graduating from its high school in 1950.

Mary Sutton, 61

Mary Sutton, age 61, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 at the Boone County Hospital.

Mary was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 21, 1959 to Anton and Norma Melichar. She was the fifth of six children. Mary graduated from William Jennings Bryan High School in June of 1978. Mary and Dennis Sutton were married on July 31, 1982 at Mount Vernon Gardens in Omaha.

Two sons, Anton and Devin, were born to this couple.

David Rosendahl, 63

David Rosendahl passed away on November 30th. 2020 after a 4year battle with Multiple Myoma. David was born in California on August 7th 1957. He spent his entire life in Klemme and graduated in 1976 from Klemme High School, then going on to college at Iowa Lakes. In 1983 he married Coleen Hopley and adopted James and Melissa. David worked for Rosendahl Farm Drainage then moving on to IMT and Stellar Ind.
